Vom 5. bis 8. Oktober 2023 findet das siebte 2x2 Forum für Outsider Art im Kunsthaus Kannen statt. 20 Aussteller präsentieren Bilder und Objekte von Künstlern mit einer seelischen Erkrankung oder geistigen Behinderung. Das Forum stellt eine internationale Plattform für den Ideenaustausch rund um den Bereich der sogenannten Außenseiterkunst und zeitgenössischen Kunst dar.
Kunstmesse / Vorträge / Aktionen
Auf der viertägigen Kunstmesse treffen sich Künstler, Ateliers und Galerien, um Projekte aus dem Umfeld Kunst, Soziales und Psychiatrie in einer kreativen Atmosphäre zu diskutieren, bestehende Netzwerke zu vertiefen und neue Kontakte zu knüpfen. Auf der Kunstmesse werde auch Werke direkt verkauft. Mitmachaktionen, Vorträge und Lesungen ergänzen das Programm.

From the 5th to the 8th of October 2023, Kunsthaus Kannen will host the 2x2 Forum for Outsider Art for the 6th time. As in previous occasions, the biennial forum will provide a platform for exchanging ideas around Outsider Art and contemporary art.
Art Fair / Lectures / Performances
Artists, studios, galleries and projects from the fields of art, social affairs and psychiatry will have the chance to meet, network, and build new and deeper partnerships in a productive, inclusive atmosphere.
Visitors who are also interested in these subjects are welcome to ask questions and purchase artworks at the four-day art fair. The program also features four lectures, two participatory “hands-on” activities and a scenic reading.
The art fairs from 2009 to 2017 is summarized in two books with all its lectures, discussions, actions and the 70 exhibitors.
