Since its launch in the summer semester of 2009, the public lecture series Münster Lectures has enjoyed great popularity, and not only among students at the university. A broad audience interested in art regularly fills the lecture hall on Tuesday evenings during the semester when artists, curators, art scholars and other protagonists of the international art scene talk about their activities and their works. The lectures are an important element of teaching in linking theory and practice, but they are also an open discussion forum on current issues in art.
