Programme overview for summer semester 2023 (in German)

Wednesday, 18:00 | summer semester 2023

Hybrid format: zoom and/or seminar room 3

University of Fine Arts Münster

As part of the lecture series Saloon Arts Education M+, actors from school practice and art education are invited to present projects, concepts, observations, experiences and teaching ideas in a university context. Less visible, circumstanced everyday practices and positions of transformative educational work in the context of art, media and education are to be given a forum. Students gain in-depth insights into practical contexts of art education, art teaching and cultural education. The format aims for a close networking of art education fields of action with university discourses.

Students are generally invited to participate in this discourse. Depending on the credit requirement, students can earn CPs by actively participating in the discussions and submitting a written portfolio reflection. Detailed information is available at the Saloon meetings and from Prof. Gesa Krebber.

Since summer 2022, the Saloon Arts Education course has been a cooperative project of the Department Art and Music/University of Cologne and the Chair of Art Didactics and Aesthetic Education/University of Fine Arts Münster.

The lecture series is open to the public and takes place on Wednesdays from 18:00 to 19:30.

Guests are very welcome. Please register in advance by e-mail to elio.huebecker[at]uni-muenster.de.

Responsible for the event series:

Prof. Dr. Gesa Krebber (University of Fine Arts Münster), Jane Eschment (University of Cologne), Gesine Hopstein (University of Cologne)
