Regine Rapp ist Kunsthistorikerin, Kuratorin und Co-Direktorin von Art Laboratory Berlin. Sie forscht, lehrt, kuratiert und publiziert zur Kunst des 21. Jahrhunderts an der Schnittstelle zu (Natur-) Wissenschaft und Technologie, derzeit zu ihrem aktuellen Forschungsprojekt „Hybrid Art Histories“. Als Gastprofessorin für Art & Science lehrt und forscht sie seit März 2024 an der Kunstakademie Münster. Als Mitbegründerin von Art Laboratory Berlin (2006) hat sie in diesem Kontext zahlreiche Konzepte entwickelt und mehrere internationale interdisziplinäre Konferenzen konzipiert, realisiert und publiziert (Synästhesie, Nonhuman Agents, Under the Viral Shadow, Networks in the Age of Technoscience and Infection). Als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle hat sie Kunstgeschichte gelehrt. Als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Fachgebiet für Angewandte Molekulare Mikrobiologie (Institut für Biologie, TU Berlin) arbeitete sie am Projekt Mind the Fungi, einem Koop-Projekt zwischen Art Laboratory Berlin und der Biotechnologie, TU Berlin.
